I love changing my hair, a lot. I get sick of my hair a week after I change the style or colour and already want to try something new. Red, pinks and purples are apparently the perfect colour for those with this problem because the colours wash out so damn fast. I find that usually colour from a box stays in a shorter amount of time than Manic Panic, however this month I tried some new red colours and they stayed in for less than a few days, even though I bleached my hair right out prior to dying. I tried Fushia shock, which is a purpley-pink colour. It stayed in the best, but still washed out in about 5 days. Then I went to Wildfire which is a bright redish-orange colour. The colour didn't hold at all half way down my hair, it was a faded orange colour and the top of my hair was bright. Once I washed that out I tried Pillarbox red, which worked the best, but it still left faded spots even after I tried to dye those spots over and over. Here is my hair mixed with all three colours, and the bottom picture is my hair now, one week later. The colour is already almost gone!
Ps for anyone else who has obsessive compulsive disorder with their hair, here are some tips I found for getting rid of hair colour fast: Use hot water to wash your hair, as hot as you can get it without burning yourself. Dawn dish soap strips the colour, as does Head and Shoulders Shampoo. Also, those of you with dyed blonde hair underneath shampoos for blonde hair work as well, it helps to get red colours out. :)

I feel like I am already going through a mid-life crisis. My ass is aging like wine and I've learned to accept this. Every thing and everyone that surrounded me is changing. Friends turn to enemies or just drift away and my scenery is like a totally different world. It's all busy people with places to go, masses of tall buildings and mansions and lineups of cars. I envy these people with passions who have followed them, and chased their dreams down and caught them. All these new people seem to know where they're going, they've reached for something and taken it. I on the other hand am still just a girl from a washed up town, still looking to find what I want to take from this life, always making excuses, make believing that I'm younger than I am.
